In Germany 436,000 men and women are diagnosed with cancer each year. Five million people live with their illness. However, a lot more are affected!
Because when someone has cancer it has an impact on family and friends too: the strain of treatment, the change to everyday life. Unusual questions need answering, feelings such as despondency and fear are a source of stress for those affected.
Since 1999 this Munich-based association has been providing support for cancer patients and their relatives - including children.

Pankreaszentrum Munich (Pancreas Centre Munich)
A striking characteristic of this centre is the possibility to extensively treat all illnesses of the pancreatic system at the highest level. The focus is not only on diagnosis and therapy of the malignant illnesses of the pancreas but also on the acute and chronic infections of the pancreas (pancreatitis) and transplantation of the pancreas.

As a foundation of our work we respect the uniqueness of people and offer individual support in respect to their personal needs and questions.

Currently recruiting participants is a randomised study on the effectiveness of FOLFIRI in combination with Cetuximab vs. Bevacizumab in the first-line treatment of metastasised colorectal carcinomas with the K-RAS wild type.
