TZM Essentials 2017 with more participants than ever befor

A record number of participants was registered at the ninth Annual Congress of Tumorzentrum München (TZM - Munich Tumour Centre), which took place on the second weekend of February 2017. Some 550 doctors made their way to lecture theatre A of the Klinikum rechts der Isar for this event. "This represents approximately a 25% increase in the number of participants compared to last year", says Professor Volkmar Nüssler, Executive Coordinator of TZM. The concept of creating a one-day event at which the most important developments of the preceding 12 months can be presented and discussed by TZM experts was therefore an outstanding success. "The fact that we were also able to present our yearbook, with all important content relating to the congress, on the day of the event was definitely a key part of its success", says Nüssler

TZM-Essentails 2016

Many new developments for clinical practice

Despite black ice and adverse travel conditions, more than 350 participants found their way to TZM Essentials 2016 on 23 January. At this event - over the course of one day - experts of the Munich Tumour Centre presented all the most important aspects in haematology and oncology of the last twelve months.

The next Annual Congress of the Munich Tumour Centre will take place on Saturday 11 February 2017.

TZM Essentials - which has meanwhile become a fixed event within TZM's further training programme - once again fulfilled all of the audience's expectations. This event has served to present practice-relevant haematological and oncological knowledge for seven years. The TZM attaches a great deal of importance to the knowledge gained over the preceding 12 months being selected, evaluated and classified by experts. The speakers sit exactly at the interface between scientific theory and clinical practice. TZM Essentials is therefore more than simply an update event and offers all interested parties an insight into adjacent areas.

TZM Essentials 2014

Munich, 10 February 2014- Approximately 350 visitors, 20 presentations, a yearbook with further information and three prize-winners of the Wolfgang Wilmanns Foundation: the sixth annual congress of the TZM came to an end last weekend and was deemed to have been successful.

For the sixth time, in the course of one day, TZM experts presented the most important aspects of the last twelve months.
