This manual on head and neck malignomas describes a multitude of different tumours. The most common localisations include the larynx, oropharynx and oral cavity. Malignomas of the thyroid are also included.
Epidemiology, diagnostics and therapy
This manual is divided into a general and specific section. In the general section epidemiology, diagnostics and therapy are outlined in detail. Additionally, aspects on rehabilitation, pain relief, nutrition, psycho-oncology, occupational medicine and on dealing with side effects are contained in the manual.
Therapy of malignomas of the head and neck
In the specific section, individual malignomas of different regions of the head-neck area are described along with corresponding therapy. These chapters are written by various authors who are specialists in the areas covered.
