The Project Groups constitute the real core of the TZM. Physicians from completely different disciplines hold discussions together on guidelines for diagnoses and treatments, which are regularly published in the so-called Blue Manuals. 

The Project Group offer regular professional training opportunities to all physicians and they meet approximately every three months for project group sessions.
Currently there are 17 active Project Groups. 

The Project Groups are a means, for example, of outreach work of the TZM - through clinical-scientific discussions which take place in regular project group meetings as well as through scientific discussion and debate with the latest scientific research and findings in the creation of the Blue Manuals, which involve the work of doctors from across the entire region (Upper Bavaria and Landshut).
