Welcome to the Tumorzentrum München (TZM - Munich Tumour Centre)!

Dear colleagues and patients,

the TZM keeps everyone up-to-date and ensures that all knowledge is made available. It is both a service provider and a service facility for doctors as well as patients in the region of Munich and Upper Bavaria. We inform you via this website about the activities of the Project and Work Groups, invite you to further training and offer you, as members of the TZM, our publications. And of course we are interested in what you think about the TZM. Write to us at  Öffnet ein Fenster zum Versenden der E-Mailtzmuenchen(at)med.uni-muenchen.de.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Prof. Dr. med. Volkmar Nüssler

Prince Luitpold of Bavaria becomes patron of "Michelin-star chefs against cancer" campaign

We are absolutely delighted that Prince Luitpold of Bavaria has agreed to be a patron of TZM's "Michelin-star chefs against cancer" campaign. He is supporting the campaign as he believes it is "an important issue - a return to enjoyment and of taking pleasure in the nuances of flavour, diversity and use of fresh ingredients". "Eating habits in America have often been regarded as different to those in Europe - Americans feed themselves but Europeans truly eat. Unfortunately, in Europe we are now also experiencing a growing trend in the consumption of fast-food and convenience products. Food is losing its value in our society, both as a proportion of living costs and - worse still - in terms of the respect and awareness it is given."
